About this Young American

I’m Rachel. I moved to London in 2012 to pursue a Masters in drama education. I left the city of Philadelphia – the city I fell deeply, deeply in love with the moment I found out I was leaving. London is the kind of city that evolves daily and is simultaneously stubborn beyond belief.  I found that England was more foreign than I imagined.

I believe in laughter, almost above all things. I do improv comedy and am slightly religious about my love of peanut butter.

I was awarded the Graduate Arts award from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation to get my MA in Applied Theatre at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

I’m back in the states and writing about many things.

Let’s see where my travels will take me.
